Is the atmosphere of the club fun or very serious?
Whilst we take our training seriously, as without concentration you can easily injure your training partner. The idea is to have fun. To smile and enjoy the training is encouraged. We often have some music playing in the background and yes we are open to listen to new compilations.
What kind of social aspect to the club is there?
We are fairly active socially as some of us train or work or even live together. As a club we do try to meet socially and where possible help each other. We also have a strong bond with our parent club Musashi Ryu Ju Jitsu who are based in Belgium. This does involve visiting each other for seminars or just for training and a bit of socialising to keep in touch with old friends. We also have links to Yoshimi international and a number of other UK based organisations for training and socialising. Some of us have known each other for 2 decades!!!
